Thursday Race
Because the Great Lakes National is in Waterford this weekend, we will have a race on Thursday, July 2 (weather permitting), instead of Saturday. We will be closed on Saturday, July 4. As always, if weather is playing a factor on whether we will race or not, we will try to determine by 4:00pm as this is late enough in the day to see if the track will dry off enough and be soon enough to give those coming from a distance enough advance notice.
Help Us With 'Sprucing Up' the Track
Plans are in progress to do some cosmetic 'sprucing up' at the track, especially on the unsightly mess of the second berm. If you have any sun-loving perennial flowers or plants at home that need to be thinned out, keep the track in mind! Hostas, coneflowers, irises, sedum, or any other perennials are welcome. Talk to Tanya Tesluck for more information or to donate. Don't have a garden at home but want to contribute? How about a gift card to a local nursery donated to the track?
